FUNSIES® IntelliGrow® FAQS:

Q: How can I look for specific answers to questions?

A: We have a wonderful Wiki with detailed information.


Q:  I have a difficult time reading directions/instructions.  What can I do?

A: Join "FUNSIES" group. A friendly family awaits you, willing to help and filled with wisdom.

Q:  I don't see any vampire, elf, lycan or neko children, why?

A:  Funsies® offers any of our children to be a neko or vampire, or neko-vamp by using our "Attachables" available to the right of the Customer Support desk in-store.


Q: Why should I choose FUNSIES versus the other guy?

A: There are several reasons:

*FUNSIES children are the most advanced and most affordable growing babies.

* Average cost per MONTH is $2 USD (rezzed 24 hours a day, awake for 16 hours, usage of a bed and diaper changer or bather).

* Children continue to learn and grow (growth stops at 17 years of age).

* Each child learns differently.

* Most realistic babies and children.

* Ease in care, yet realistic.

* Lifetime support.

* Modifable: Great for tinies! (will impact toy/furniture usage)

* Transferable but can never be lost or stolen.


Q: How do I feed my child?

A: Newborns may use bottles or be breast fed. Children 90 days old and above may use Baby Foods, Snacks, Sippy cups and more! See our store for a complete line of nutritional products.


Q: Can daddy, a friend or family hold and feed my child?

A: Yes, any Funsies® IntelliGrow® child can be transferred to and cared for by anyone you choose.  Be careful though, by sending your child to someone else, you give them FULL RIGHTS to your child.


Q: Do the children grow?

A: Funsies® IntelliGrow® children begin growing from the moment they are born. Children must be rezzed (not in your inventory) to grow. Your inventory will keep your child healthy, however it also stops growth.


Q: What happens if I lose my baby?

A: Funsies® IntelliGrow® children are trackable. Contact Laguna Recreant if you believe your child is lost.


Q: What's the difference between pregnancy packages?

A:  The length of pregnancy and number of babies.  You can choose to be pregnant from 9 days to 9 months and we offer single baby packages as well as twins.  Want more children? Simply buy an extra child to be delivered. 


Q: Do I get pregnancy shapes with the packages?

A: You get free shapes with the package.  However, these are not custom shapes to your face/height and features.  

If you would like custom pregnancy shapes, we offer them for only L$500 for all 9.  Keep your face while being pregnant with a custom shape.


Q:  What do I need to have a baby?

A: Unlike real life, all you need is the desire to be pregnant.


Q: But I don't have a mate.  How can I get pregnant?

A: Anything is possible in SL.  You choose to be pregnant and you are.  No mate needed.


Q: Can the baby die?

A: Never.  We do not RP child death.  Although your child can become sick, he/she can never die.


Q: What do I do if my child is sick?

A: Visit our pediatric hospital or buy the meds in our store.

We also offer a health plan which covers all illnesses and vaccines for your child. You may buy the health plan at FUNSIES main store behind the children on the south wall.


Q: Do you supply vaccinations?

A: Yes and for a nominal fee (currently L$75)


Q: What do I need for my Funsies® IntelliGrow® child?

A: Bottles, diapers, a bed/crib, one toy and of course love! We suggest a nursery which will save you Lindens on diapers.


Q:  How much are the babies?

A:  Funsies® IntelliGrow® babies are only L$2950 for single children and L$2500 per twin (prices subject to change)


Q:  How do I adopt a baby?

A:  You may select any child in the store, or adopt a specific baby or older child by looking beside the courtesy desk and reading the information above the cradle.


Q:  Are the tummy talkers included in the pregnancy package?

A:  Tummy talkers are kept separate of the pregnancy packages to allow you to choose which tummy talker you prefer.  


Q: When can I deliver my baby at your hospital?

A:  Once you've purchased your pregnancy package, send it to Rebekah Recreant and she will have a staff member contact you to schedule your appointments.  The appointments are based to work best with your schedule.


Q: What's the difference between the Dynamic Maternity Advanced (DMA), Real Pregnancy tummy talker and the In the Womb?

A: The DMA is a copiable tummy which delivers a basic baby. The baby will be created from you and your spouses skin tones - real DNA technology! The baby is not transferable and is a very basic baby - best as a starter baby or delivery baby.

The Real Pregnancy allows you to choose when to see your baby(s) actually growing.  Your water breaks and you go into labor.  You can also name your baby(s); add/remove friends & family and set the date and time for your delivery.

The In the Womb is a basic tummy talker designed to say how the baby is doing.  This is a copy only tummy which can be used for all of your pregnancies.  It is not personalized.


Q:  How can I tell if I am pregnant?

A:  If you want actual results, I suggest using our Real Conception hud.  It tracks your menstruation, ovulation (when you can best become pregnant), as well as the actual date/time and person whom fathered your baby(s).

If you only want to RP a test, with varying results, we offer our free pregnancy test at the front desk of our store.


Q:  Does my FUNSIES® IntelliGrow® baby have to use a FUNSIES crib/highchair/carrier/clothing?

A:  Yes.  In order for your FUNSIES® child to reap the best health benefits, we offer all of these items and at very competitive pricing.

Have a creative touch?  You can create clothing to resell using our "Build-An-Outfit" kit .  We'll even advertise your store free!


Q:  Can I change my child's name?

A: Yes! Simply touch your child and select "Setup" and then "Name" to enter a formal name (this is how you will find your baby in your inventory - remember the name!).

You should also change their nickname (defaulted at FUNSIES®). The nickname is how your baby will address himself/herself, such as:

Angelique loves apples!

The "Name" is the title/full name of your child, such as "Angelique Recreant".


Q: How do I change my child's name above his/her head?

A: There are two options:

1) Touch your child and select "Setup" and then "Hovertext". This will turn it off or on.

 

2) For fancier names you may type it in local (such as names that include ♥ and so on)

Type the following in local chat, while having only 1 of your children rezzed at a time. Replace "NAME" with your child's name

/5 Baby01 NAME

As an example, I want me child's hovertext to be: ♥ Angelique ♥. I would type:

/5 Baby01 ♥ Angelique ♥


Q: Can I add/remove family and friends from my child's access list?

A:  Yes you can! Touch your child, from the menu select "Select" and then "Family" now choose "Add" or "Remove". If the person you are listing is not accepted (too young, wrong name etc), we suggest entering their UUID.


Q: I was told I could change my daughter's hair color.  How?

A:  Yes you can! Select any hair color or hair style in our store. No child is limited to a certain style or color.


Q: When can my child start to wear hair, skirts etc?

A: From the moment of birth.
